Future Day of the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. Today, pupils in classes 5-9 had the opportunity to gain an initial insight into various jobs. "Children are our future" and as a family and child-friendly company, we are happy to support such a campaign. Jonas visited us today. After a short briefing and adjustment of his personal protective equipment (PPE), Jonas tested his way through the service laboratory. He was allowed to watch a test setup on the HPHT viscometer and was explained the complex process in simple terms by Per. Thanks to 2-3 simple examples, Jonas quickly understood what viscosity means. Our quality manager Marc gave him a rough explanation of the test methods of the most important devices. The term "Flow Assurance" will remain in his head. The oil (or gas) must flow. Things then got practical with Birgit, our Head of the Service Laboratory. Jonas was allowed to run through a complete test sequence on Multi-Rack Cold Finger CF15. He set up different samples and set predefined temperatures for the sample and finger. The first interim results were already exciting, and the wax deposits at the end of the test were astonishing.
It was a pleasure for us and Jonas gained a comprehensive insight into the equipment and various activities in a short time.
